Where can I book a trip?
We make booking trips very accessible for our customers by giving options to book through our website under the book trip page or by contacting us directly through email or phone call.
How many people can come on a trip?
Lex Sea can fit up to four guests.
When is the best time to book a trip?
Fishing in Southern California is best between June and November. The waters warm up, pelagic fish move in and generally stay through the calm warm months of fall. Fall fishing is our favorite because the weather is perfect, the crowds die down, and the fish are still biting!

Can I cancel my trip?
Yes, however, any cancellations made shorter than a two weeks notice will be charged 50% of the trips total cost. Any cancellations made prior to two weeks will receive a full refund.
Cancellations can be made by contacting us directly through email or phone.
What should I bring on my trip?
We recommend bringing glasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a warm jacket. We do not provide food and drinks, however, we do provide a microwave and cold storage.
A California fishing license is required for anyone over the age of 16 and must have it onboard during the trip. You can purchase one here.
Will I get seasick?
Seasickness is preventable through the use of Dramamine. We find the brand Bonine to be the most effective.
Does Sekas Sportfishing have a bathroom?
Yes.
Does Sekas Sportfishing provide fishing equipment?
Yes, all necessary fishing equipment and tackle will be provided for guests, however, we do allow passengers to bring their own gear if desired.
Is Sekas Sportfishing insured?
Yes.
Do you fillet our fish?
Yes. The fish will be kept on ice, then cleaned and filleted at the end of your trip before returning to the harbor.
Does Sekas Sportfishing provide food?
No, although we do provide a microwave and cold storage for customers.

Is alcohol permitted on trips?
Sekas Sportfishing allows guests to bring alcoholic drinks on their trip.
Are drugs permitted on trips?
The waters of the California coast are federally regulated and no drugs of any kind are allowed on board, including medical marijuana.
